Having worked with virtual teams for almost a decade I'm constantly looking for better ways to help my teams get to know each other, get things done, get it right. In ten years we've seen our workforce shift from site-based teams to virtual collaboration, from water-cooler discussions to telephone conferences, from time clocks to Blackberrys.

Communication is now a skill more than a talent - one I work hard to build every day.
